Christian Corbet arrives in Dunnville and will commence restoration of the historic panels adorning the uprights
on the Centennial Park Fountain, originally done by Elizabeth Bradford Holbrook.
Dunnville Silo Ltd. has been on site since April 29th doing extensive concrete restoration on the uprights
in preparation of Christian’s arrival .
- Saturday, May 13th: 7am-12noon our Annual Plant Sale (NOTE new location 111 Broad St E, Dunnville Town Hall parking lot).
All proceeds this year go towards the Dunnville Centennial Park and Fountain project.
How you can help
-by donating potted plants from your garden; please label with color and plant name
and drop them off Friday May 12th same location as sale (111 Broad St E.) between 5pm and 7pm.
-by attending the sale and making purchases, Think Plants for Mothers Day!!!

- Thursday, May 18th our regular program night- will not be so regular!!!
We will be hosting Christian Corbet, a rare opportunity to meet and hear him as he presents on his mentor the late Elizabeth Holbrook. Christian was her only protégé. Holbrook was the original sculptor of the iconic panels on the Centennial Park Fountain.
Christian Corbet is a renowned Canadian Artist known around the world for his work as a sculptor, painter, and forensic sculptor.

The May 18th program will have light refreshments as usual with some additional treats.
Our annual Rose Draw for members only will also take place this evening.
There will be NO Ways and Means Table **however, Brant Richardson, our former high school student, has made and donated a garden trellis to DHS. For every $5 donated by members and guests, they will receive a ticket to be entered into a draw for this trellis.
May will be an eventful and exciting one for DHS. Make sure you join in and participate in all your Society has to offer!
