Rules for Showing
NO ENTRIES WILL BE PLACED AFTER 5:30 P.M. – NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Exhibitor must be an amateur exhibitor residing in the Niagara area only. Each exhibit must have A COMPLETED ENTRY CARD placed with the entry on the table. Placement of the exhibit in the category between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.
Limited to ONE ENTRY IN ANY ONE CATEGORY PER EXHIBITOR. Exhibits MUST REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL 8:30 P.M. when awards will be presented and photos taken, after which the exhibits may be removed. Exhibits must be picked up and removed by the exhibitor. For horticultural class entries, society vases must be used unless otherwise stated.
The Welland Horticultural Society will not be responsible for loss or damage to containers, plants or personal property. N.B. Entries may be moved to a different horticultural class for the benefit of the entrant.
Judging standards are in accordance with Publication #34 (2003) Ontario Judging & Exhibiting Standards. Judge’s decision is final.

Design Division
Class “A” Arrangements
• Using roses and other flowers (at least one rose or more must be included in each arrangement)
• No florist material may be used.
• Arrangements must not exceed 20” (51 cm) in any direction (height, width, depth, diagonal) unless otherwise stated.
1. Timmies… a small arrangement in a coffee cup or tea cup – which must not exceed 10″ (25 cm) in any direction (height, width, depth, diagonal).
2. Pioneer Portage…accessories permitted, max. 25” (64 cm)
3. The Canadian…a bouquet (in a suitable container).
4. Spectacular Fireworks…a display in a round container, showcasing colour and sparkle, accessories permitted.
5. Dining with Royalty… a dining room table display, accessories permitted
